Soap Stone for Carving

We are the importer for Western Europe for the above mentioned product. People work with this material to make sculptures or other figurines. Soapstone is one of the softest minerals found, which makes it easy to work with.

This product is available in different sizes with diameters from 10cm to 35cm. The pieces are all differently shaped. It is available in many colours: pink, green, grey, black, white, mixed colours, brownish and reddish . Of course, as it is a natural product, the colours are never exactly the same and can be interpreted differently by everyone.

We deliver these products in Big Bags of 1.200 kgs. Each bag is filled with 1 colour (i.e., not mixed). They are available from our stock.

Smaller amounts can be delivered through our dealers also directly from their stock. This also includes tools for soapstone, such as rasps, diamond files, fist rasps, needle files and chisels.

For your information, the above mentioned product is also ground into very fine powder for the paint, plastics, rubber, cosmetics and pharmaceutical industries. The product is then known as talcum powder or magnesium aluminium silicate.
